Abstract

L'invention concerne de détection de chute d'un sujet humain portant au moins un dispositif actimétrique qui comprend des moyens d'acquisition des mesures d'accélération instantanée suivant trois axes et des moyens de traitement desdites mesures d'accélération acquises, ledit procédé prévoyant la mise en œuvre par les moyens de traitement des étapes suivantes : - premier traitement des mesures d'accélération instantanées, détection d'une chute dudit sujet humain en fonction du résultat dudit premier traitement, - génération, au moins dans certains cas, d'un signal d'alarme, local et/ou vers un site distant, dans le cas où une chute est détectée. Selon l'invention, ledit procédé prévoit la mise en œuvre par les moyens de traitement d'un deuxième traitement des mesures d'accélération instantanées de façon à délivrer un indicateur d'activité dudit sujet et de génération d'un signal de confirmation d'alarme, local et/ou vers un site distant, dans le cas où la chute est confirmée par le biais dudit indicateur d'activité.
