L'invention concerne un col fémoral d'essai (1) qui comprend (i) une embase (2) présentant un canon (30), une platine (21) et des moyens d'assemblage à une râpe fémorale (6), (ii) une broche (4) présentant une portion proximale (43) conique destinée à recevoir une tête fémorale d'essai (7), la broche (4) étant destinée à être emmanchée sur le canon (30), et (iii) des moyens de retenue configurés pour retenir la broche (4) dans le canon (30), et pour permettre de régler la distance entre la portion proximale (43) de la broche (4) et la platine (21).
