Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de contrôle d'au moins une buse d'une tête d'impression multi-jets d'une imprimante à jets d'encre, comportant une pluralité de buses (4), au moins une 1ère et une 2ème électrodes de déviation (14a, 14b) de chaque jet, procédé dans lequel : - on forme au moins un jet à l'aide de ladite buse (4), à une fréquence de formation du jet, - on estime : * une fréquence de coupure dudit jet, par variation de la fréquence de formation du jet, à vitesse de jet constante, * ou, à fréquence de formation du jet constante, par variation de la vitesse du jet, la vitesse pour laquelle la fréquence de coupure est égale à ladite fréquence de formation, - on compare cette fréquence de coupure ou cette vitesse à une valeur de référence et on en déduit l'état fonctionnel, ou pas, de ladite buse.
