La présente invention se rapporte à une culasse (1) comprenant un conduit d'échappement, une face d'échappement (2) comprenant une sortie (6) du conduit d'échappement. La culasse (1) comprend au moins un circuit de refroidissement (10) disposé au voisinage de la sortie (6) du conduit d'échappement. Selon l'invention, le circuit de refroidissement (10) est aménagé sur la face d'échappement (2).
