La présente invention concerne un procédé (100) de détection d'utilisation d'un compresseur électrique dans une zone de pompage comprenant les étapes de : - mesurer (101) une valeur d'un paramètre physique influencé par la variation de débit et de pression au niveau du compresseur, - comparer (102) la valeur mesurée à une valeur seuil qui défini l'entrée de l'utilisation du compresseur en zone de pompage.
