Abstract

The invention relates to devices provided to arrangements such as capitals with metal frame covered with a fabric or membrane and whose transport and assembly characteristics allow a folding which fits into the road template with a setting in rapid service facilitated by the fact that the maneuvers are performed from the ground, by a small staff, to obtain a general volume without mast with the possibility of eventually creating stage frames.

Description

The invention relates to improvements made to arrangements such as capitals with metal framework covered with a canvas or a membrane and whose transport and mounting characteristics allow folding which fits into the road gauge with a setting in rapid service facilitated by the fact that the maneuvers are carried out from the ground to obtain a general volume without mast.

For a good illustration of the application of the device, the invention relates to the support of systems of the kind of metal profile assemblies, more commonly designated by traditional trusses, or metal profiles which can be retained by way of example ( 1) figurel (representing the assembly folded and finished).

These elements are described below under the name of farms to simplify this description.

In this particular case chosen by way of example, and in no way constituting any limitation of the invention of the common provisions consist in dividing the farms so that their length enters the road gauge (2) figurai of the country in which will be carried out the transport.

The various elements of the same farm will be linked together by articulations (3) figurai which allow their folding to be grouped on a trailer (4) Figure 2 or any other means of transport.

They are calculated and produced to ensure the continuity of resistance of the farm in use after deployment.

In this particular case chosen by way of example and in no way constituting a limitation of the invention, the trusses are articulated on a central element (5) figurai which constitutes a fixed point remaining in the dimensions of the road gauge (2) figurai and commonly called cupola in circuses.

On this dome are fixed 2 farm elements (6) Figure 3 without articulation which are arranged in the longitudinal axis of the movable element to form a reference frame on which come to fold the movable elements.

This dome (5) is provided in its upper part with a domed cover (6) which serves as a reference and fixed anchor point for the fabric or covering membrane.

The dome carrying all of the elements of the folded trusses (8) in Figure 3 is mounted on a self-guided elevator (14) in Figure 2 which can lift all of the equipment.

On the horizontally foldable elements are also articulated the tower tower legs of the marquee (9) for their installation in a vertical position and intermediate bracing frames (10) judiciously arranged at the articulations of the farm elements.

When the elevator is in its low position and after the stabilizers have been adjusted, the deployment of the assembly can thus be carried out directly from the ground.

This low position allows the deployment of the bracing elements (10) figure3 which maintain joints between them by stiffening the trusses at their half span.

The independent plate bracing elements (11) in FIG. 5 which correspond to the end of the trusses are put in place and block the posts (9) at the end of the lifting stroke.

In this particular case chosen by way of example, and in no way constituting any limitation of the invention, the dome (5) in FIG. 2 is placed on a particular lifting device (14) secured to a trailer ( 4) which ensures the transport of the whole.

This lifting device (14) can advantageously be a scissor lift of current or adapted manufacture.

The fully folded assembly is placed on the tracking axes, previously traced, under the trailer.

By action on the remote control of the lifting device (14) the assembly is raised to possibly be placed at a sufficient height so that the elements can unfold at breast height.

Respecting the unfolding order of Figures 4 & 5, the elements are assembled together, temporarily leaving the tower posts (9) folded.

The independent plate elements (11) are put in place.

The orientation adjustment is possibly adjusted by means of the ball orientation crown (15) in FIG. 2 which is judiciously arranged for this purpose on the upper part of the elevator (14) and which has the rest points of the cupola.

When the assembly is assembled, the roof tarpaulins are unfolded and fixed to the rafters (1) of the trusses.

They are stretched, for example, and in no way constituting any limitation of the invention, by telescopic tubes (18) in the rafters of trusses (1) to arrange, for example, according to Figure 8.

The elevator is set in motion and operates to its highest limit, allowing the tower posts (9) to fall into place vertically by the action of gravity, no longer resting on the ground.

The struts at the top of the tower posts and the vertical bracing of the stability plate (13) are put in place.

The lengths of the feet of the tower posts (9) are adjusted with respect to an identical level to compensate for any inequalities of the rest points on the ground, thanks to the mounting of the ends of the feet which are telescopic.

The elevator (14) in Figure 1 descends which allows the assembly to rest on the tower posts (9) which frees the elevator (14) from the dome (5) leaving the trusses (1) thus reconstituted to rest on the ground (19) Figure 1 by their ends on the tower posts (9).

The trailer (4) frees the premises.

The tower fabrics are put in place.

To fold the marquee, the trailer (4) is refocused on the positioning marks and the reverse maneuver is carried out in the same reverse order.

To facilitate the centering of the elevator (14) relative to the dome (5), a male centering cone (16) figure 7 fixed on the slewing ring (15) fits into that, female which is fixed on the dome (5) which centers the riser (14) by constraining it laterally with a fine adjustment of the stabilizers of the trailer

When the folded assembly approaches the trailer (4) Figure 1, a rotation action can be performed for alignment on the axis of the trailer (4) which is easily allowed by the presence of the slewing ring (15) provided for this purpose.

It goes without saying from the foregoing that the intervention is in no way limited to those of its modes of application no more than to those of the embodiments of its various parts having been more specifically envisaged; on the contrary, it embraces all its variants.

In particular, the dome can be permanently fitted with part of the ambient, security and scenic lighting devices as well as part of the sound system (17) figure7.

Special devices are provided to create one or more open bays by adding additional elements, in particular to create different stage frames in FIG. 9, by adding gantries (19) forming girders which support the trusses in cantilever fashion according to Figures 9, 10, 11 and 12 after removing posts by creating a canopy (20) for example.

It is obvious that this marquee with automatic deployment object of this invention is not intended to replace all the marquees but it offers a possibility of assembly by personnel which can be reduced to 2 operators even unqualified.

Claims (7)

1) Device for creating a folding marquee characterized in that it is contained in the folded position inside the road gauge (Figure 2). 2) Device according to claim 1 in that it relates to the assembly of the 5 marquee from the ground quickly with a reduced staff. 3) Arrangements according to claim 2 in that it relates to articulated trusses which can be deployed to increase their length (Figure 4). 4) Arrangements according to any one of the claims, characterized in that it relates to the installation of the various auxiliary assemblies intended for 10 stiffen the entire structure (Figure 5) 5) Arrangements according to claim 1 in that they relate to the establishment at operating height by a remote-controlled lift secured to the means of transport (Figure 1) 6) Arrangement according to claim 1 as it relates to the implementation 15 position of the posts and their locking and the descent of the elevator for its evacuation with the means of transport (Figure 6). 7) Arrangement according to claim 1 in that it relates to the possibility of making a free bay by adding additional elements, in particular for creating stage frames for example (Figures 9-10-11 -12)
