Abstract

L'invention concerne une structure de chambre de combustion d'un moteur à combustion interne comportant des évidements de soupape, un renflement, et une coupelle formée dans ou sur la surface supérieure d'un piston afin d'améliorer l'inflammabilité d'un mélange air-carburant et de réduire les pertes de refroidissement du gaz brûlé. Spécifiquement, la structure de chambre de combustion d'un moteur (1) comprend une arête côté admission (23), une arête côté échappement (24), une première arête de liaison (25), et une deuxième arête de liaison (26). L'arête côté admission (23) passe à côté des évidements de soupape (17) et (18) du côté admission et d'une partie plate (15) du côté admission du piston. L'arête côté échappement (24) passe à côté des évidements de soupape (19) et (20) du côté échappement et d'une partie plate (16) du côté échappement du piston. La première arête de liaison (25) et la deuxième arête de liaison (26) relient ensemble les extrémités (24a) et (24b) de l'arête côté admission (23) et les extrémités (24a) et (24b) de l'arête côté échappement (24) et s'étendent le long des bords périphériques externes (5d) et (5e) d'une surface supérieure (5A) d'un piston (5,) respectivement. Le renflement (21) comporte une première coupelle (22) en retrait vers un axe central (5 a) du piston (5).
