L'invention concerne un boîtier pour une source lumineuse (220) montée sur un substrat (218), ce boîtier comprenant : un barillet (202) comprenant un support de fixation pour un diffuseur (204) ; et un diffuseur (204) positionné dans le support de fixation, dans lequel le barillet (202) comprend : - des première et seconde colonnes conductrices (212) ; et - un fusible (208) couplant électriquement les première et seconde colonnes conductrices (212), une partie du fusible (208) étant mécaniquement fixée au diffuseur (204) et/ou le fusible (208) étant disposé de manière à bloquer le diffuseur (204) dans ledit support de fixation.
