Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé et à un système de freinage incluant un dispositif pour l'actionnement d'au moins une garniture de frottement contre une piste de frottement pour le freinage d'un véhicule, le dispositif comprenant une unité de commande (ECU), un mécanisme à entraînement électrique (3), incluant un groupe moto-réducteur à train épicycloïdal couplé à un mécanisme de vis-écrou, un moteur électrique (2) entraînant en rotation suivant un axe de rotation (A) le groupe motoréducteur , le dispositif comportant en outre un embrayage multidisques à poudre magnétique (1) disposé entre le moteur électrique (2) et le mécanisme de vis-écrou du mécanisme à entraînement électrique (3), de manière à coupler ou à découpler ledit moteur électrique d'avec ledit mécanisme de vis-écrou.
