Abstract

Un dispositif d’absorption d’énergie (30) pour une colonne de direction (10) comporte une tôle (42) comportant une zone d’interférence (50) traversée par une lumière d’interférence (74) s’étendant parallèlement à une direction longitudinale (200) du dispositif d’absorption (30), et un curseur de déformation (84) apte à provoquer une déformation plastique de la tôle (42) par interférence de forme avec les parois de la lumière d’interférence (74) lors d’un mouvement relatif de translation parallèlement à la direction longitudinale (200). La tôle (42) comporte deux zones latérales (52) situées de part et d’autre de zone d’interférence (50) et reliées à la zone d’interférence (50) chacune par une zone de raccordement (56) plastiquement déformable comportant au moins deux plis (58).
