Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de gestion d’une pompe (10) à piston (110) par un calculateur (20) d’un véhicule (1), ladite pompe (10) comprenant un guide (120), un piston (110) monté de manière coulissante dans ledit guide (120), et un solénoïde (130), adapté pour déplacer le piston (110), ledit procédé comprenant, tant que la pression de carburant (C) dans la chambre de compression de la pompe (10) est inférieure à un seuil de pression prédéterminé, une étape de commande du solénoïde (130) par le calculateur (20) afin de déplacer le piston (110) jusqu’à sa position haute, et une étape de détection, par le calculateur (20), d’un dépassement du seuil de pression prédéterminé lorsque la valeur de courant, mesuré au terme d’une durée prédéterminée, est supérieure ou égale à une valeur de référence prédéterminée de manière à arrêter la commande du solénoïde (130) par le calculateur (20).
