Abstract

Un générateur électrique à aimant permanent, destiné à être utilisé dans des applications de fond de puits a un élément de rotor pouvant tourner autour d’un axe, s’étendant dans une direction radiale généralement perpendiculaire à l’axe et un ou plusieurs aimants permanents fixés au rotor pour générer des champs magnétiques. Un élément de stator s’étend également dans une direction radiale généralement perpendiculaire à l’axe. Un arbre est relié au rotor et peut tourner autour de l’axe, l’arbre s’étend à travers le stator. La distance linéaire le long de l’arbre entre le rotor et le stator définit un entrefer variable et résistant à l’accumulation de débris.
