Abstract

L’invention porte principalement sur une machine électrique tournante (10), notamment pour véhicule automobile, comportant: - un stator (11) comprenant un corps de stator (33) et un bobinage (34), ledit corps de stator (33) comportant une culasse (37) et des dents issues d'une périphérie interne de la culasse (37), - au moins un palier (16) muni d'un logement (17) destiné à recevoir un moyen de guidage en rotation (19) d'un arbre (13), et - une chambre de refroidissement (41) disposée autour du corps de stator (33) et dans laquelle circule un liquide de refroidissement, - au moins une portion externe (37.2) de la culasse (37) est réalisée dans un matériau composite magnétique, la chambre de refroidissement (41) étant délimitée au moins en partie d'une part par une périphérie externe de la culasse (37) du corps de stator (33) et d'autre part par une périphérie interne du palier (16).
