Procédé de fabrication d’une pièce d’équipement de véhicule automobile et pièce associée Le procédé comprend la fourniture d’une structure de rigidification (12) présentant une pluralité d’alvéoles (16) et la disposition de mousse dans au moins une partie des alvéoles (16). La disposition de mousse dans au moins une partie des alvéoles (16) comporte la fourniture d’au moins une couche de mousse refendue (40) à l’extérieur de la structure de rigidification (12) en regard d’une première face (20A) de la structure (12) et la compression de la couche de mousse refendue (40) contre la première face (20A) de la structure de rigidification (12) pour faire pénétrer au moins partiellement des régions de mousse refendue issues de la couche de mousse refendue (40) dans au moins une partie des alvéoles (16).
