Dispositif de chauffage radiant (10) adapté à un élevage avicole, notamment pour un élevage de poulets (12), le dispositif de chauffage radiant (10) comprenant un corps de chauffe (16) configuré pour être raccordé à une source d’alimentation électrique (11) et pour émettre un rayonnement de chauffe (162) au moins en partie dans le domaine infrarouge lorsque le corps de chauffe (16) est alimenté en électricité par la source d’alimentation électrique (11), l’émission du rayonnement de chauffe (162) se pratiquant selon un champ sensiblement directionnel dirigé selon une direction principale, le rayonnement de chauffe (162) ayant la faculté de chauffer l’intérieur de la chair d’un poulet (12) au moins en partie positionné dans le champ du rayonnement de chauffe (162).
