Convertisseur modulaire multiniveaux pour application basse tension avec dimensionnement optimisé des condensateurs Un MMC (1, 31) avec au moins une branche (30), deux modules externes (2, 3, 2, 33) et un module interne (4, 34), chaque module (1-4, 32-34) comprenant deux unités de commutation (7, 8, 37, 38) comportant chacune une diode (12, 42) et un transistor bipolaire à grille isolée (IGBT) (13, 43), une première, une deuxième et une troisième bornes (9, 10, 11 , 39, 40, 41). Le module interne (4, 34) comprend en outre une capacité (18, 48) connectée entre la première borne (9, 39) du module interne (4, 34) et la seconde borne (10, 40) du module interne (4, 34), Le convertisseur (1, 31) comprend une première capacité externe (19, 49) connectée entre la première borne (9, 39) du premier module externe (2, 32) et la seconde borne (10, 40) de la première module (2, 32) et une seconde capacité externe (20, 50) connectée entre la première borne (9, 39) du second module externe (3, 33) et la seconde borne (10, 40) de la seconde borne externe module (3, 33) de ladite au moins une branche.
