Ce dispositif électrochimique, de type batterie, comprend un empilement dit élémentaire (2) formé par au moins une cellule élémentaire, un support de connexion électrique (5), réalisé au moins en partie en un matériau conducteur, prévue au voisinage d’une première face frontale (12) dudit empilement élémentaire, des moyens d’isolation électrique (53, 54), permettant d’isoler mutuellement deux régions distantes (56,57) dudit support de connexion électrique (5), des moyens de contact anodique (30), permettant de relier électriquement une première face latérale (23) dudit empilement élémentaire avec le support de connexion électrique (5), des moyens de contact cathodique (40), permettant de relier électriquement une deuxième face latérale (24) dudit empilement élémentaire, opposée à ladite première face latérale, avec ledit support de connexion électrique (5), un système d’encapsulation (7) recouvrant l’autre face frontale (11) dudit empilement élémentaire, les moyens de contact anodique, les moyens de contact cathodique, ainsi qu’au moins en partie la face (51) dudit support de connexion électrique (5), qui est tournée vers ledit empilement élémentaire, un système de rigidification mécanique (8), recouvrant le système d’encapsulation à l’opposé du support de connexion électrique (5).
