Abstract

Une vis à billes (6) à laquelle une plaquette mobile de freinage (5) est fixée, dans un frein dépourvu de piston extérieur de guidage, est guidée par une pièce intérieure de guidage (18) dont une face d’appui (21) est montée sur une pièce (9, 10) appartenant à une cartouche de transmission de mouvements dans un logement (2) du frein et soutenue (14) par la partie fixe (1) du frein. Les efforts radiaux exercés sur la plaquette (5) pendant le freinage sont alors repris surtout par la pièce de guidage (18), ce qui décharge les billes présentes entre la vis (6) et l’écrou (13) et qui commandent le déploiement de la vis (6).
