La présente invention porte sur une console (13) pour une unité de siège (10) comportant: - une paroi supérieure (19) formant une surface de table sur laquelle un passager peut poser des objets, - une cavité (24) située sous la paroi supérieure (19) formant une surface de table, - un bras articulé (32) fixé sur une face interne de la cavité (24), - ledit bras articulé (32) comportant un dispositif de maintien (33) d'un dispositif électronique portatif (35) muni d'un écran, - ledit bras articulé (32) étant mobile entre une position stockée dans laquelle le bras articulé (32) se situe à l’intérieur de la cavité (24) et une position déployée dans laquelle le bras articulé (32) se situe au moins en partie à l’extérieur de la cavité (24).
