L’invention concerne un procédé d’extraction liquide-liquide d’au moins un sel d’un métal choisi parmi les éléments du groupe des terres rares et du groupe des actinides à partir d’une phase aqueuse acide les contenant, ledit procédé comprenant notamment une étape de mélange d’une phase aqueuse acide comprenant ledit sel dudit métal et au moins un agent hydrotrope non ionique avec une phase organique comprenant au moins un agent hydrotrope non ionique et au moins un agent extractant.
