Le système (100) comporte : - un support rotatif (104) entraîné par une turbomachine (102) de l’aéronef et portant l’hélice (106) ; - un train épicycloïdal (103) ; - un support fixe (107) solidaire d’un porte satellite (103PS) du train épicycloïdal (103) ; - un moteur (116) de calage comportant un stator (116S) porté par un support rotatif (104) solidaire d’un planétaire intérieur (103PI) du train épicycloïdal (103) ; - un dispositif de dégivrage des pales (108), porté par le support rotatif (104) ; - une génératrice électrique principale (112) comportant un stator bobiné (112S) porté par le support fixe (107) et un rotor (112R) porté par le support rotatif (104) et conçu pour alimenter électriquement le moteur de calage (116) et le dispositif de dégivrage ; et - un dispositif d’excitation conçu pour fournir une tension d’excitation continue (Ve=) au stator bobiné (112S) de la génératrice électrique principale (112).
