Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif biométrique (10) pour la réalisation de transactions électroniques, comportant d’une part une carte à puce (12) pourvue d’un corps de carte intégrant un module microélectronique comportant un microprocesseur et une mémoire pour stocker des informations d’identification du titulaire de la carte à puce, caractérisé en ce qu’il comporte d’autre part un porte-carte (11) configuré pour recevoir ladite carte à puce (12), et ledit porte-carte (11) comportant un capteur biométrique (13) apte à capter une information biométrique d’un utilisateur du dispositif (10), et une interface de communication configurée pour transmettre ladite information biométrique au module microélectronique (3) de la carte à puce.
