Abstract

Une pièce structurelle (PS) équipe un véhicule comprenant une structure (SV) comportant un longeron latéral (LL) installé suivant la direction longitudinale et une traverse (TV) installée suivant la direction transversale. Cette pièce structurelle (PS) est solidarisée fixement à une extrémité (ET) de la traverse (TV) et au longeron latéral (LL) afin de les coupler entre eux, et comporte au moins une zone de déformation (ZD) propre à se déformer par compression en cas de choc latéral subi par le longeron latéral (LL) suivant une direction ayant au moins une composante parallèle à la direction transversale, afin d’encaisser une partie de l’énergie de ce choc latéral.
