Abstract

Moteur hors-bord (1) couplable à une embarcation (20) et comprenant un corps (2) creux allongé ouvert à son extrémité supérieure (3), une hélice (5) positionnée sur l’extrémité inférieure (4) du corps (2), un système (6) d’entraînement en rotation de l’hélice (5) intégré dans ledit corps (2), une barre (7) de direction équipée à son extrémité libre d’une poignée (8) d’accélération. La barre (7) de direction est montée mobile à coulissement à l’intérieur d’un chemin (9) de guidage longitudinal ménagé à l’intérieur du corps (2) pour un déplacement de la barre (7) de direction entre une configuration au moins partiellement escamotée dans le corps (2) du moteur hors-bord (1) et une configuration déployée dans laquelle la barre (7) de direction fait au moins partiellement saillie dudit corps (2). En configuration déployée, la barre (7) de direction est montée mobile à pivotement autour d’un axe (10) transversal à l'axe longitudinal du chemin (9) de guidage pour un déplacement de ladite barre (7) entre une position relevée dans laquelle elle s’étend dans le prolongement axial du chemin (9) de guidage et une position abaissée dans laquelle elle forme avec l'axe longitudinal du chemin (9) de guidage un angle (α) compris entre 60 et 120°.
