Abstract

L’invention concerne un ascenseur (10) adapté à être installé à l’intérieur d’un bâtiment présentant une pluralité de niveaux. Il comprenant : une cabine (14) montée mobile à l’intérieur dudit bâtiment entre un premier niveau (30) et un dernier niveau (28) ; une courroie (20) reliée à ladite cabine (14) et s’étendant d’une poulie d’entrainement (22) à une poulie de renvoi (24) ; un dispositif de commande (42) pour pouvoir commander ladite poulie d’entraînement (22) de manière à entraîner ladite cabine (14) en translation d’un niveau à un autre niveau. Il  comprend en outre : un premier détecteur (52) adapté à détecter le mouvement angulaire de ladite poulie d’entraînement (22) et un second détecteur (54) adapté à détecter le mouvement de translation de ladite cabine (14) ; et, un dispositif de blocage (38, 40) pour bloquer ladite cabine (14) en position fixe lorsque l’un desdits détecteurs détecte un mouvement, tandis que l’autre détecteur détecte l’absence de mouvement.
