Abstract

L’invention concerne un tachymètre (10) pour roue (R) d’aéronef montée sur un essieu (E) pour tourner autour d’un axe (X) de rotation, le tachymètre comprenant un stator (20) destiné à être fixé à l’essieu (E) et un rotor (30) destiné à être lié en rotation à la roue. Selon l’invention, l’un du stator ou du rotor comprend au moins un capteur sans contact (23) comportant au moins deux cellules de mesure (28.1, 28.2) adaptées à coopérer avec une pluralité de cibles (37) portées par l’autre du stator ou du rotor pour générer deux signaux (S1, S2) représentatifs d’une vitesse de rotation de la roue, les cellules de mesure étant décalées angulairement l’une de l’autre autour de l’axe (X) de manière à détecter un sens de rotation de la roue en combinant les deux signaux.
