Abstract
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de sélection de cellules de sperme ayant une plaque de support comprenant une entrée pour recevoir un échantillon de cellules de sperme, une sortie pour collecter au moins une partie des cellules de sperme comprises dans ledit échantillon, et un système microfluidique entre lesdites entrée et sortie, dans lequel le système microfluidique comprend une cuvette agencée pour recevoir un milieu et ayant une zone d'entrée et une zone de sortie respectivement à proximité de l'entrée et de la sortie, et dans lequel l'entrée et la sortie sont agencées pour fournir une différence de pression hydrostatique entre ladite zone d'entrée et ladite zone de sortie lorsqu'un milieu est ajouté à la cuvette par l'intermédiaire de la sortie, de manière à provoquer un courant dudit milieu depuis la zone de sortie en direction de la zone d'entrée pour initier la migration de cellules de sperme des cellules de sperme de l'échantillon de cellules de sperme depuis la zone d'entrée en direction de la zone de sortie, et dans lequel la zone d'entrée et la zone de sortie sont en communication fluidique l'une avec l'autre par l’intermédiaire d’un canal principal agencé dans la cuvette, le canal ayant une zone de largeur réduite agencée entre la zone d'entrée et la zone de sortie de manière à former une zone de rhéotaxie, moyennant quoi ledit échantillon de cellules de sperme subit une sélection en passant à travers ladite zone de rhéotaxie durant ladite migration de cellules de sperme permettant ainsi de collecter un échantillon de cellules de sperme de qualité de la zone de sortie au niveau de la sortie.
