Le frein (2) à tambour pour véhicule automobile, comprend : - un tambour, - un organe (5) de serrage destiné à coopérer avec le tambour pour réaliser un freinage sous l’action d’un actionneur (4) électromécanique fournissant une force de serrage, - des moyens de détermination (10) de température destinés à mesurer la température du tambour, et - une unité (11) de contrôle électronique destinée à moduler l’action de l’actionneur (4) électromécanique en fonction de la température déterminée par les moyens de détermination de température.
