Abstract
L’invention concerne un dispositif de liquéfaction d’un fluide tel que l’hydrogène comprenant un système (20) de pré-refroidissement en échange thermique avec au moins une partie d’un ensemble d’échangeur(s) (6) de chaleur configuré pour abaisser la température du fluide à refroidir à une première température et un système (21) de refroidissement en échange thermique avec au moins une partie de l’ensemble d’échangeur(s) (6, 7, 8, 9, 10) de chaleur dans lequel le système (21) de refroidissement et le système de pré-refroidissement comprennent chacun un réfrigérateur (21, 20) à cycle de réfrigération d’un gaz de cycle comprenant, dans un circuit (14, 140) de cycle : un mécanisme (15, 150) de compression, un mécanisme (17, 170) de détente le mécanisme de compression comprenant un ensemble de compresseur(s) (15, 150) de type centrifuge montés sur des arbres (19, 190) entraînés en rotation par un ensemble de moteur(s) (18, 180), le mécanisme de détente comprenant au moins une des turbines (17, 170) accouplée au même arbre (19) qu’au moins un étage de compression (15).
