Abstract

Un longeron (LV) est installé parallèlement à un côté longitudinal (CL) d’un plancher (PV) d’une structure (SV) d’un véhicule automobile (VA), et comprend un profilé (PL) comportant des parois internes longitudinales et délimitant des caissons internes (C11-C32) longitudinaux et un bord intérieur (BI) participant à la délimitation de deux premiers caissons internes supérieur (C11) et inférieur (C12) séparés par un premier caisson interne intermédiaire (C13) ayant une section transversale en forme générale de pentagone convexe pointant initialement vers un bord extérieur (BE) et propre, en cas d’efforts encaissés lors d’un choc par ce dernier, à se déformer en pentagone concave pointant vers le bord intérieur (BI) afin de permettre une rotation du profilé (PL) autour d’un axe longitudinal induisant un transfert majoritaire des efforts vers le plancher (PV).
