Abstract

L’invention se rapporte à un procédé de construction d’un composant articulaire pour un élément d’articulation, comprenant tout d’abord une phase préparatoire durant laquelle est construite une modélisation tridimensionnelle de l’élément d’articulation qui est ensuite sectionnée en plusieurs sections de travail (15) réparties dans différents plans et contenant chacune un ensemble de points géométriques définissant une coupe dans le plan de l’élément d’articulation. Suite à cela est réalisée une phase de suppression d’ostéophytes appliquée à chaque section de travail de la modélisation tridimensionnelle, qui consiste à déterminer si la section de travail étudiée contient des zones aberrantes (Z11, Z12) contenant des points géométriques aberrants représentatifs d’ostéophytes et si c’est le cas, à supprimer ces zones aberrantes ; permettant l’obtention in fine d’une section de travail nettoyée. L’ensemble des sections de travail nettoyées sont finalement exploitées pour construire le composant fémoral ou tibial. Figure de l’abrégé : Figure 6
