L'invention porte sur un procédé de traitement de surface d'une pièce (13) réalisée en titane ou dans un alliage à base de titane comportant une étape de retrait d'une couche de calamine et d'une couche alpha-case par immersion de la pièce (13) réalisée en titane ou dans un alliage de titane dans un bain à ultrasons de solution aqueuse contenant de l’hydroxyde de sodium et du nitrate de sodium.
