Abstract

L’invention concerne un dispositif de temporisation permettant l’activation d’un système de passivation d’un engin spatial. Le dispositif de temporisation (2) se compose d’un dispositif de commande (4) couplé à un dosimètre (6). Le dosimètre est apte à caractériser une dose de rayonnements auquel est exposé un engin spatial lors de sa mission, de manière à ce que le dispositif de commande (4) puisse prendre connaissance de la dose de rayonnements absorbée par ledit dosimètre (6). Le dispositif de commande (4) est apte à activer un système de passivation d’un engin spatial lorsque la dose de rayonnements reçue par ledit dosimètre (6) dépasse une valeur de référence, correspondant à un temps de vol sur une orbite prédéterminées.
