Abstract

L’invention concerne un dispositif de terminaison (2) pour câble (1) du type comprenant au moins un fil conducteur (11) s’étendant à l’intérieur d’une gaine extérieure (10), un isolant réfractaire tel qu’un isolant minéral (12) étant disposé entre le ou les fils conducteurs (11) et la gaine extérieure (10), ledit dispositif comprenant un insert métallique (21) destiné à être fixé sur la gaine extérieure (10) à l’extrémité d’un câble (1), un insert métallique (22) destiné à être fixé sur une partie de l’extrémité dénudée (11a) du ou des fils conducteurs (11) du câble et un manchon (20) s’étendant entre les deux inserts métalliques (21, 22). L’invention consiste en ce que le manchon (20) est constitué d’un matériau polymère thermoplastique et assemblé de manière étanche par surmoulage sur au moins une partie des inserts métalliques (21, 22).
