L’invention porte sur un pion (1) à souder, destiné à l’assemblage par soudage électrique par résistance d’une première tôle (40) et d’une deuxième tôle (80), le pion (1) comprenant une tête (2) et un corps longitudinal (3) en saillie de la tête (2) s’étendant jusqu’à une extrémité libre distale, caractérisé en ce que le corps (3) comprend une rainure (4) formant moyen de découplage thermique et qui s'étend jusqu'à l'extrémité distale du corps (3).
