L'invention porte sur un ensemble pour un véhicule automobile comportant: - une machine électrique tournante (17), - au moins un élément structurel (22) du véhicule automobile, - une traverse (15) comportant des moyens de fixation (16) avec la machine électrique tournante (17) et des moyens de fixation (21) avec l'élément structurel (22) ou un élément intermédiaire (23) destiné à être fixé sur l'élément structurel (22), - au moins un composant électrique (26, 27, 28) porté par ladite traverse (15), - un impacteur (32) s’étendant en saillie par rapport à une face avant de la traverse (15), de façon à permettre, en cas de choc frontal, une rupture programmée de la traverse (15) dans une zone de rupture prédéterminée (33).
