Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un implant dentaire transgingival (1) s’étendant longitudinalement (z) suivant un premier tronçon lisse (11) prévu pour affleurer dans la cavité buccale d’un patient en une première extrémité dite cervicale (114), et suivant un deuxième tronçon (10) doté d’un filetage mâle, prolongeant le premier tronçon, ledit tronçon fileté étant prévu pour être vissé dans l’os de la mâchoire dudit patient et définissant une deuxième extrémité dite apicale (108), l’implant définissant un corps de révolution suivant l’axe longitudinal (z) et comportant en outre un logement intérieur dit de connexion (115) débouchant au niveau de la première extrémité dite cervicale (114) et destiné à recevoir les moyens de fixations (20) d’un composant dentaire transvissé, caractérisé en ce que le tronçon lisse est pourvu sur sa surface circonférentielle extérieure d’au moins une portion concave (111) adjacente à la première extrémité dite cervicale (114).
