Abstract

La présente invention concerne un pneumatique (1) comprenant une bande de roulement (6) réunie par l’intermédiaire de deux flancs (7) à deux bourrelets (4), une couche composite (9) formée de renforts (100) parallèles entre eux, et enrobés dans un mélange élastomérique, formant une armature de carcasse (2) en s’enroulant dans chaque bourrelet (4) autour d’une tringle (8) pour réaliser un retournement, ladite couche composite (9) se prolongeant radialement extérieurement à l’armature de carcasse (2) pour former une armature de sommet (5) comprenant deux couches de sommet (51, 52) radialement superposées intérieurement à la bande de roulement (6), les renforts (100) de la couche composite (9) sont reliés par des fils de trame (110) de sorte que les renforts et les fils de trames (110) forment un tissu tramé dont la densité de fils de trame est au moins égale à la moitié de la densité des renforts du tissu tramé.
