Abstract
L’invention se rapporte à une composition comprenant une combinaison synergique de la fluoroéthylnormémantine (FENM) et d’au moins un agoniste ou modulateur positif du récepteur sigma-1. Plus particulièrement, l’invention se rapporte à ladite composition pour son utilisation en tant que médicament, encore plus particulièrement pour son utilisation dans le traitement d’une pathologie sélectionnée parmi les maladies neurogénétiques d’origine métabolique telles que la ganliosidose à GM2, la maladie de Krabbe, la maladie de Fabry, la sialidose de type I, la maladie de Gaucher, la maladie de Niemann-Pick de type C, la maladie de Refsum, la xanthomatose cérébrotendineuse, l’adrénoleucodystrophie, ou encore les tauopathies, synucléinopathies, les amyloïdopathies, la maladie d’Alzheimer, la maladie de Parkinson, l’atrophie multisystématisée, la maladie de Huntington, l'atrophie corticale postérieure, la maladie de Pick, l’épilepsie, la démence vasculaire, la démence fronto-temporale, la démence à corps de Lewy, la sclérose latérale amyotrophique.
