Abstract

A building structure comprises a wall (101) extending upwardly from a floor (103). A pipe housing unit (119) is located in the wall, the pipe housing unit (119) providing a passageway (121) for a pipe, and wherein the structure comprises a pipe (113a, 113b) extending from the floor, through the passageway (121) in the pipe housing unit and out of the wall. The pipe housing unit may be a replacement for a building unit, such as a brick. A pipe housing extension (122) may also be provided below the pipe housing unit (119) and the pipe my pass from the floor into the pipe housing extension, then the pipe housing unit and out of the wall. The pipe may be a hot water pipe for a radiator. The position at which the pipe exits the pipe housing unit may be adjustable via an array of apertures.
