Abstract

123,777. Dunkley, W. H. July 16, 1917. Holders.-Gas holders are fitted in any available space in or upon the bodies or framework of motor vehicles. They comprise rigid outer receptacles a, b, c, h of metal or wood, of square, circular, or other cross-section, and inner flexible bags or containers e adapted to contract under the influence of springs or weights as the gas is consumed. The receptacle may have a further lining of rubber. The' gas is supplied to and from the gas holders by pipes g which support the roof. A pump may be fitted for supplying the holders. The figure shows gasholders a, c arranged beneath the floor or body of a vehicle, holders b beneath the seats and a holder h on the roof.
