Abstract

1278426 Coatings MINNESOTA MINING & MFG CO 1 Aug 1969 [2 Aug 1968] 38784/ 69 Heading B2E [Also in Divisions C2 and C3] Cloth, paper, wood and leather may be coated with latices prepared by emulsifying in water, which may contain an organic polyamine chain extender, a compound of the formula: wherein Ar is an aromatic nucleus, R is a prepolymer chain, X is O, S, NH or N-alkyl, and n is 0 or 1, which compound has been prepared by sulphonating an aromatic polyisocyanate which is a diisocyanate monomer or isocyanate terminated prepolymer, followed by neutralisation of the product with a base and reaction with a second aromatic polyisocyanate (see Divisions C2 and C3)
