Abstract

163,473. Amiot, H. Feb. 18, 1920. Addition to 17248/14. Ploughs.-To facilitate detaching the shaft I that carries the turnwrest ploughs as described in the parent Specification, this shaft is secured to the tractor frame 3 by means of a nut screwing on a shaft 8 on the frame. The cross member 20 at the front of the plough frame can be turned to engage with one or other of two hooks 4, 5 at the ends of draw-bars 6 positioned at each side of the tractor frame, and vertically adjustable by screwed rods 22. The plough frame is lifted by winding a cable 13 on a drum which may be driven from the motor, the cable being attached to a ring 19. The shaft I is rotated to reverse the plough by worm-gearing driven from the motor.
