Abstract

27,697. Baker, H. F. Nov. 25. Tyres, pneumatic; elloes or rims.-Each edge a of the outer cover A has a pocket in which lies a metal or similar band B formed in sections. The rim C is provided with channels c having narrow necks c<2> which allow the edges of the cover to be passed in or out only when the bands B are folded back. Normally the bands B will take under the flanges c<1> of the channels c and so attach the tyre to the rim. The invention is applicable to any form of pneumatic tyre.
