Abstract

An assembly for mounting a fishing reel comprises a fixed sleeve (3) secured to one end of a cylindrical body (1), a slidable sleeve (4) movably mounted on said cylindrical body in opposite relation to the fixed sleeve and a screw ring (9) in contact with the slidable sleeve. On the inner wall of each sleeve is a projection (6,6') which is in slidable engagement with a key way (2) extending along the cylindrical body, thus facilitating precise alignment of the sleeves. <IMAGE>
