Carburetting.-A carburetter for carburetting coal gas comprises in combination a petrol container 1 having a cup-shaped filter-filler 10 and a liquid-level regulating port 14, a float 4 attached to the end of a tube 3 telescoping in the end of the gas inlet pipe 2, and a sump 5 to receive the float 4 when the container is becoming empty.
