Abstract
299,550. Gillings, R. H. Aug. 16, 1927. Aligned sleeves and pin fastenings; fastenings for milk-churn lids.-The lid of a milk churn or like vessel at the side opposite to the hinge is provided with an enlargement or fin i adapted to take into a pocket k formed in the rim of the churn. The pocket is cut away at the sides to permit the passage of a hook or fastening m passing through a hole n in the fin. Liquid collecting in the lid will drain through the hole n and through the open sides of the pooket k to the outside of the churn. The fin alternatively may be of solid construction.
