Apparatus for spreading granular fertilizers comprises a discharge spout 2 which is located beneath a hopper 1 and is oscillated by means of a forked connecting member which is pivotally mounted on the spout 2 and is rotatably mounted in a sleeve 9 secured to two rods 10 each provided with a sleeve 1a mounted on a crank arm 8 forming part of 1 drive shaft 7.
