922,013. Seats. LACE WEB SPRING CO. Ltd. June 5, 1961 [April 2, 1960], No. 11706/60. Class 52 (2). A seat has an adjustable back 6 which is pivoted at 8 to a base frame 1 of the seat and a member 12 is attached to the back 6, a screw 15 engaging in a hole 14 in this member 12, the screw being connected by a shaft 16 to a handle 17 at the front of the base frame 1 and the member 12 passes through an arcuate slot 19 in a plate 20 secured to arm rests 2 provided on the base frame 1, the ends of the slot limiting the movement of the member 12. The plates 20 may carry the pivots 8 for the back frame 6. As shown in Fig. 2, a plurality of back frames 6 may be mounted side by side on a base frame 1.
