[Also in Division E1] A chisel 26 is caused to strike a blow by the rear surface of said chisel being struck by weights 16 pivoted at 17 on discs 15 secured to a rotatably driven shaft 13, the weights flying outwards under centrifugal force as the shaft 13 is rotated. The chisel may be dispensed with and the weights allowed to strike directly on the surface being worked.
